Fabula 3d creates a 3d printable face shield in less than an hour with cling film
A face shield that can be 3d printed quickly and manufactured with commonly used materials.
The idea was born following the reporting of Alfredo, one of the subscribers to the Fabula 3D Youtube channel, who signaled the possibility that in a short time there may be a shortage of face shields that are usually used by the Civil Protection or by others realities that are working in the field to stem this health emergency.
Fabula 3D has therefore designed a DIY shield for the protection of your face that can be printed quickly in just 60 minutes, a quick and easy solution to solve this problem in the Coronavirus emergency. In a short time, also in collaboration with FILOALFA, Red Pill and Kentstrapper, Fabula3D designed and created the skeleton of the shield that is 3D printable in less than an hour.
To solve the barrier problem using a very easy to find material, Fabula 3D has decided to use the cling film that is commonly used to store food. This has allowed creating a transparent protective veil for the face which not only repairs but is also easy to find and replace.
