La nuova auto Dynamis PRC
Filoalfa and Politecnico di Milano: Additive Manufacturing components for Dynamis PRC's new prototype car
Signed Filoalfa are some 3d printing and additive manufacturing components for the new car of Team Dynamis PRC, a racing department of Politecnico di Milano that competes in the international Formula SAE championship.
Like every year, the team designed a new prototype of the single-seater, which has been introducing autonomous driving for a few years now and revolutionized the design phase.
For this reason, DynamisPRC chose Filoalfa to make components with the best filaments for 3d printing according to the type of application, both technical and aesthetic.
Technical filaments for specific applications
The team used various technical filaments for 3d printing, such as self-extinguishing ABS V0 to make battery cases, ABS for baffles, sensor supports, junction boxes, and other medium-strength components. AlfaOmnia filament was also used for exposed parts that need to be impact resistant.
