FILOALFA® HIPS is an easy to print High Impact Polystyrene filament dedicated to various applications.
It is suitable for very detailed and/or large prints, due to its very limited deformation. In addition, the particular aesthetic finishing results in a very smooth surface and opaque colors.
Moreover, FILOALFA® HIPS is very light and durable, and presents a good adhesion between the layers. It can be easily post processed: glued, sanded and varnished.
Its solubility in Limonene also makes it an excellent material for supports, especially in combination with ABS.
FILOALFA® recommends HIPS for building architectural models and lost wax technique.
