ALFAPEEK is part of Filoalfa's range of ultra-high-performance materials dedicated to industrial-grade 3d printing.
Filoalfa PEEK is particularly suitable for 3D printing parts that require high resistance to chemicals, exposure to extreme temperatures and wear. We have designed and manufactured a filament that has outstanding mechanical strength due to excellent adhesion between layers.
FILOALFA has declined ALFAPEEK in 3 formulations: natural, glass fiber filled, and carbon fiber filled.
NB:
Given the material's performance, properly equipped printers are required to process this polymer.
For maximum performance, it will be necessary to proceed with the crystallization of the material, either during the printing process or by annealing process after printing is complete.
- Place the part in the oven, including any supports, raise the temperature to 140°C, and let it stabilize for about an hour.
- Raise the temperature to 200°C and leave the part for one hour for each mm of part thickness.
- Turn off the oven and allow the oven to cool to 140°C before removing the workpiece (optimal would be -10°C/h).
